Abstract
This study aimed to analyze pre and post PT. Nestlé training to the coffee bean farmers in Ngarip village. Based on this matter, this study could get the detailed comparative analysis that could give full information about PT. Nestlé training to the farmers. The method of this research used literature study. In this research conducted an analysis of KUB-farmers and non-KUB farmers response against training that done by PT. Nestlé. The Determination of farmers respondents conducted in accindental sampling, which the number of samples were 30 farmers member of KUB and 30 farmers that non-member of KUB. The farmers non-member of KUB were devided over 15 farmers in the same region with KUB member-farmer and 15 others were in another region outside of the place of PT. Nestlé training. The data used in this research is the primary and secondary data. Primary data collected obtained through an interview with respondents that helped by structured quizioner. Secondary data obtained from various related parties. All datas collected will be processed in tabulation then they explained descriptivly. From four package that applied by PT. Nestlé in this training programs, the farming training aspect, management of a plantation package, information of coffee business and the marketing solution, that the higher addopted by the most farmers and they bring real influence in the improving the coffee bean quality in Ngarip village. This training has been able to improve the coffee bean quality of farmer KUB-member quality. Before the training applied, coffee bean that produced by the farmer were produced with more than 20 % water quality and defect of coffee bean more than 250. After the training, farmers member of KUB has been able to increased their quality, from non-grade quality become A1 and A2 coffee bean quality that had water level only 11,5 percent and defect less than 80.
