Minat dan Ekspektasi Siswa-Siswi SPP Ciganjur Untuk Berkarir atau Berbisnis di  Bidang Pertanian

Abstract

     The importance of the agriculture in the future required of high qualitative and quantitative agricultural human resources and they must be sustainable. However, isril berd ( 2011 ) there ' s a phenomenon the decrease in the number of employment in agriculture. Based on the data of year 1970 number of people employed in farming reached 69,03 percent, whereas in 2006 declined so 50,36 percent and this year will be less than 50 presen employment in agriculture. The aim of this research was to find out of expectation or hope of the graduated students in SPP Ciganjur academic year 2010/2011 to agricultural as their future work place and their future source of income. This research conducted in april till June 2010 and the location is determined purposively in Agriculture High School in Ciganjur South Jakarta. This research was the quantitative study. The sample of the research done by survey method to all  graduated students of SPP ciganjur academic year 2010 / 2011. The result of this research showed that 40.28 percent of their parents’s job was self-employed. Fifty percent of their parents earned less than 1 million rupiahs per month. The observation of interest of graduted students in SPP Ciganjur academic years 2010/2011 to continue their higher education determined that they intend to continue their studies to a higher level. Agribusiness was the highest interest students, who want to reach their job or doing business in agricultural sector with value 36,99 percent.  56,94 percent graduated students expected to be an entrepreneur in the agricultural sector and plantation.  Earnings that they expected to achieve between 1 million till  3 million rupiahs per month and it reached 37,50 percent. The willingness of graduated students to develop their agricultural career or business outside java reached 55,56 percent
